About this Recipe

Mumbai Mule

This cocktail presents an Indian twist on the beloved Moscow Mule, retaining the signature ginger-forward taste while introducing the herbal notes of cilantro and mint. The addition of chaat masala provides a nostalgic touch, reminiscent of Mumbai’s street food.

Crafting the Mumbai Mule involved a lot of experimenting in order to capture the true essence of Mumbai’s street foods. The final recipe focuses on infusing the drink with the spicy, cilantro-mint chutney reminiscent of bhel or sev puri. It is topped with chaat masala with its distinctive black salt aroma. This cocktail offers an authentic taste of Mumbai.
