Here is a new take on the classic White Russian. It’s a creamy, chai-spiced drink with a hint of tea flavor in place of coffee. This is an excellent cocktail for anyone who likes chai or White Russians, and it has a lovely cinnamon finish.

Ingredients
Chai liqueur – a liqueur made with masala chai instead of the coffee liqueur found in the traditional White Russian.
Milk – Most recipes for White Russian call for heavy cream, which I find far too rich. I prefer to use either half-and-half or whole milk.
Vodka – use up to 2 ounces of vodka, or none at all, depending on your tastes. I found two ounces of vodka to be too strong. It was very sweet with no vodka, although I liked it that way. One ounce of vodka seemed to be just the right balance.
Ice
Star anise for garnish
