About Cashew
Cashews are a tree nut native to Brazil. They were brought to Goa in the 1560’s. From there they reached much of the rest of the world.
Cashews are often used in Indian dishes. They can be eaten whole and added to rice or in a snack mix to add some crunch. They can also be pureed in a sauce to add a non-dairy creaminess.
