Collect the ingredients for the Pav Bhaji

Step 1

Heat butter, hing, bell peppers, onions, ginger-garlic paste, pav bhaji masala, cilantro and kasoori methi.

Step 2

Add tomatoes, beets, turmeric, chili powder, salt, peas, and the boiled potato.

Step 3

Mash everything together with the bottom of a metal cup or a potato masher to roughly mash the mixture together.

Step 4

Add 3 tablespoons of butter and the remaining pav bhaji masala. Let the spices bloom for 10-15 seconds.

Step 5

Mash to desired consistency, or transfer half of the bhaji to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 6

Toast the Pav Bhaji in remaining Pav Bhaji Masala.

Step 7

Plate the Pav Bhaji.
