Gulab Jamun Cake Recipe

Beat eggs and sugar for 2-3 minutes until pale and fluffy

Whisk in the ricotta cheese. Beat for 1 minute. Add rose water and vanilla.

Add flour, baking powder, salt, cardamom, saffron. Fold in with spatula.

Pour the batter into 7” removable bottom, 8” springform pan, or bundt cake pan. Bake at 375°F for 60-65 minutes, or 45 minutes for a bundt cake.

Make the syrup. Add water, sugar, cardamom, saffron and roses to a pot. Heat to a simmer, then remove from heat.
