Air Fryer Paneer Tikka

Paneer tikka is a popular restaurant dish of paneer marinated in spiced yogurt and grilled. Here I use the air fryer for ease and convenience.

Air Fryer Paneer Tikka

Ingredients

  • 12 oz paneer ((350 g))
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp beet (grated)
  • 1 1/2 tsp garam masala or tikka masala
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • Spray oil
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer into 2-inch by 1-1/2-inch steaks.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, beets, and spices. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Arrange the paneer onto a plate and coat all sides with the marinade. Be gentle to avoid breaking the paneer.
  4. Spray the air fryer tray with oil. Arrange paneer. Spray the top of the paneer with oil.
  5. Cook in an air fryer at 380°F (190°C) for 11-13 minutes. Turn the paneer at the halfway point.

  6. Serve with lemon, sliced onion, and cilantro.
