Air Fryer Tindora and Potato Fry

Tindora and Potato Fry is a crunchy, spiced shaak of tindora and potato sticks. This can easily be pan-fried, but I make it in the air fryer for that extra crispiness and convenience.

Air Fryer Tindora and Potato Fry

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 package frozen tindora (12 oz)
  • 2 medium potatoes (peeled and cut in 1/4” sticks)
  • 1 Tbsp dhana jeeru
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri chili powder (or paprika + pinch of cayenne pepper)
  • 1/2 tsp amchoor
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Toss tindora and potatoes together with oil and salt to coat.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the dhana jeeru, Kashmiri chili powder, amchur, garam masala, and turmeric powder.
  3. Cook tindora and potatoes in the air fryer at 380°F for 10-12 minutes; no need to preheat.
  4. Add the masala mixture to the tindora and potatoes. Toss to coat.
  5. Cook for 5 more minutes in the air fryer at 380°F.
