Chicken Malai Kabab

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 Tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • Oil spray
  • 1/2 tsp Kasoori methi (optional)
  • Lemon slices

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, cream, ginger-garlic paste, and spices. Whisk well.
  2. Cut the chicken into 2” pieces and add the chicken to the marinade. Mix well to coat the chicken. For maximum flavor, allow it to marinate for 30 minutes to overnight in the refrigerator (optional).

  3. Add the chicken to wood or metal skewers. If using wood skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before adding chicken.
  4. Grill the chicken in the air fryer for 14-16 minutes at 380°F until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
