A refreshing take on lemonade with a little something extra, pomegranate. The pomegranate gives it a dark red color and a little extra sweetness.

Pomegranate Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup simple syrup (or agave sweetener)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Pinch salt
  • For the Rim
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1/4 tsp cumin (toasted)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Stir together simple syrup, lemon juice, pomegranate juice, a pinch of salt, and cold water.
  2. Pour into a pitcher filled with crushed ice.
  3. To rim your glass, rub the lemon wedge around the rim to coat it with a thin layer of lemon juice. Mix cumin, sugar, and salt on a plate. Dip the glass in the mixture and twist to coat.
